Code of Conduct

The behaviour the club expects on and around the court, and what happens when it is breached.

Applies to Players, parents, coaches, volunteers and spectatorsOwner Bossley Bears Volleyball Club Pty Ltd (ABN 58 680 308 070)Effective 1 October 2026

01Respect the call

Self-refereed games and duty refereeing only work when people accept calls. Query a call with the referee or the supervising coach, never with an opponent.

02Everyone is welcome

No abuse, discrimination or harassment on any grounds. Language and behaviour that would not be acceptable in front of a teen group are not acceptable anywhere in the hall.

03Play safe

Follow coach instructions on safety. Do not cross under the net during play. Report injuries and near-misses to a coach immediately.

04Parents and spectators

Encourage every player, not just your own. Coaching from the sideline is the coach’s job. Concerns about a session go to the coach after it ends or to the club by email.

05Reporting

Tell any coach or email enquiries@bossleybears.com.au. Reports are handled the same night where possible and always confidentially.

06Consequences

A first breach is a conversation. Repeated or serious breaches suspend booking access; the most serious end membership without refund.
