Join Bossley Bears Volleyball Club and become part of a thriving Sydney South-West community that nurtures skills, teamwork, and a love for volleyball. We offer two membership options tailored to suit different levels of participation and commitment. Both memberships include comprehensive insurance coverage to prioritise your safety and well-being during all club activities.


Membership Options (24/25)

Join the Bossley Bears Volleyball Club and choose the membership that suits your needs! Whether you're just starting out or aiming to compete in major leagues, we have an option for you.

Recreational Membership

Ideal For: Casual players and beginners looking for a fun, social environment to learn and enjoy volleyball.

Benefits:

  • Access to social games and skill development programs.

  • Eligibility to participate in social competitions and skill clinics

  • Comprehensive player injury insurance coverage.

Pricing:

  • Adults: $59.99

  • Under 18: $45.99

Full Membership

Ideal For:  Bossley Bears’ representative players participating in Sydney Volleyball League (SVL).

Benefits:

  • All benefits of the Recreational Membership.

  • Eligibility for all competitions and leagues, including the Sydney Volleyball League.

  • Access to advanced training sessions.

  • Comprehensive player injury insurance coverage.

Pricing:

  • Adults: $109.99

  • Under 18: $89.99


Insurance Coverage

As a Volleyball NSW Affiliate, Bossley Bears Volleyball Club provides members with extensive Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance through a national policy with AON.

Coverage Includes:

  • Public Liability: $20 million

  • Professional Indemnity: $10 million

  • Personal Accident Coverage: For registered players, coaches, and officials during sanctioned activities.

Important: Individual player registrations must be completed online at Volleyball NSW before any incident that may result in a claim.

1. Can I upgrade my membership from Recreational to Full?
Yes, upgrades are available for players selected for our representative or competition teams.

2. Is insurance included in both memberships?
Yes, comprehensive insurance is included in all memberships.

3. Do you offer trial sessions?
Yes, new members can enjoy one free trial session before signing up.

4. What if I need to cancel my membership?

For new members who are joining Bossley Bears and have never registered for VNSW Membership with Bossley Bears or another club before:

  1. Click 'New Member'
  2. Fill in your personal details
  3. Select a 'Primary' membership type:
    • U/18s Membership: You must be 17 years old or younger as at 31st December 2022
    • Full Membership: Representative Programs
    • Recreational Membership: Junior and Adult Programs

For members who have previously joined Bossley Bears or another club and wish to renew their VNSW Membership:

  1. Click 'Returning Member'
  2. Fill in your personal details. You will receive an error message if your details are incorrect or do not match your profile.
  3. Select a 'Primary' membership type:
    • U/18s Membership: You must be 17 years old or younger as at 31st December 2022
    • Full Membership: Representative Programs
    • Recreational Membership: Junior and Adult Programs
  4. The system will allow you to renew your VNSW Membership if it has expired.

 

For members who are existing members of another club and wish to add Bossley Bears to their profile:

  1. Click 'Returning Member'
  2. Fill in your personal details. You will receive an error message if your details are incorrect or do not match your profile.
  3. Select the same 'Secondary' membership type you currently have:
    • Full Membership: Representative Programs
    • Recreational Membership: Junior and Adult Programs
  4. The system will recognise that you have already paid for your VNSW Membership and not require you to pay any additional fees.

For members who are existing members of Bossley Bears or another club and wish to upgrade their VNSW Membership:

  1. Login to your RevSPORT profile
  2. Click 'Upgrade' on the left-hand side of the Profile Summary
  3. Select a 'Primary' membership type
    • Full Membership: Representative Programs
    • Recreational Membership: Junior and Adult Programs
  4. There is no need to upgrade if you already have a 'Full Membership'
  5. The system will recognise that you have already paid for your VNSW Membership and only require you to pay the difference.
